CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 14(STA) Making                                                                                
application to the United States Congress to call a convention of the                                                           
states to propose a countermand amendment to the Constitution of the                                                            
United States as provided under art. V, Constitution of the United                                                              
States; and urging the legislatures of the other 49 states to make the                                                          
same application, was read the second time.                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
Senator Stoltze, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                               
adoption of the State Affairs Senate Committee Substitute offered on                                                            
page 2491. Senator Gardner objected, then withdrew her objection.                                                               
There being no further objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE                                                                    
JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 14(STA) was adopted.

Senator Wielechowski moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1.                                                                 
Senator Stoltze objected.

President Meyer stated SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT                                                                         
RESOLUTION NO. 14(STA) will advance to third reading on the                                                                     
April 16 calendar.
